Job Title: Apprentice Specialised Operator

What we're looking for

The purpose of this role is to ensure that we plan efficiently maintaining a high standard to the customer ensuring the TMS is updated with accurate costs and STC. In having our own core fleet is it essential that the vehicles and drivers are managed to make sure we are fully compliant working under the O licence.

What you'll do:

· 
Ensure our core fleet and drivers adhere to all rules and regulations subject to the O licence standards.

· 
Service all customer requests in a prompt manner making sure that the customer is informed of any deviations of the planned transportation.

· 
Make sure that the system if fully updated accurately with costs and STC.

· 
Make sure that the statuses on the TMS are updated to give the customer access to milestones.

· 
Ensure that all delivery / collection paperwork is uploaded into the TMS system.

· 
Increase the supplier base setting them up on all the KN systems.

· 
Work with the sales branches on new business quotations to increase the customer base.

· 
Review all work instructions on an annual basis and update as required.

To be available to work shifts

· 
Be on call for emergencies based on a weekly rota

· 
Computer literate (Excel, Word)

·
