Air Logistics Operational Care Team Leader

Job description
You will be part of our Air Logistics team, adding your expertise + skills to the delivery of customer + operational excellence.
Your Role
You are responsible for the delivery of operational excellence through your Operational Care (OCC) team by providing leadership + direction, while continuously optimizing production costs. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.Your Responsibilities
- To ensure operational excellence through high quality shipment management + export/import services.
- To drive collaboration between Customer Care locations (CCL), Revenue Care (RCC), Sales, Systems +
Processes to deliver a great customer experience, along with developing of new + existing customer targets.
- To ensure supplier relationships are created + pro-actively managed ensuring delivery to service level
agreements (SLA) + Preferred Carrier Partners (PCP).
- To drive air logistics procurement + carrier relation management, developing pricing strategies by liaising
on pricing + RFQ preparation, maintaining + strengthening such relationships on the most senior levels.
- To actively manage interfaces + the exchange of information + knowledge across the organization.
- To contribute as process owner to continuous improvements of processes + controls for lean processes
focusing on cost effectiveness + productivity.
- To optimize proceedings to ensure the development of operational targets.
- To undertake the responsibilities as the local Dangerous Goods Coordinator.
