YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You will be based in London, UK and part of a dynamic team that oversees GUCCI Watches & Jewellery in the UK & Europe. You will play an important role in supporting, designing, and implementing all Learning & Training functions required by the brand, across all channels of business. Your responsibilities will include:

360° Training Implementation (Facilitated Classroom / OJT / Online & Blended)
You will be required to execute the global Training strategy in the region (UK & Europe). You will be required to train sales teams, and retail staff in either a facilitated classroom setting, on-the-job and will be taught how to conduct online and blended training as a primary responsibility.

You will travel in order to carry out training sessions for major clients or to introduce the training strategy to markets (product, selling techniques & rituals, other training programs).

Learning Design
You will support the development and contextualisation of training tools, materials, and training programs for use by teams with different learning needs – i.e. B2B sales, and B2C retail teams.

Training Co-ordination
You will work closely with operations teams (i.e. Retail, Sales and Marketing teams) across different channels to plan and co-ordinate training events, external visits, Points-of-Sale visits, and organisation of all activities around the learning function. You will own the training calendar for your region.

Reporting & Analysis
Regular reporting on staff and store performance will be required to track training impact on business KPIs. Define and maintain the set of key KPI’s to measure training effort and effectiveness.

Quality & Standards Audits
As an Ambassador of the brand, you will be expected to uphold and exemplify service, grooming, and quality standards in GUCCI stores and wholesale POS according to brand and regional guidelines.

WHO YOU ARE

·  At least 3 years of experience in an L&D or Training function, and 5+ years of experience in the fashion retail industry; watches & jewellery experience preferred.
·  Shop Floor (whether counter or boutique) experience is a plus.
·  Excellent presentation and communication skills, strong training ability.
·  Effectively bilingual in English & preferably French, with excellent written and spoken communication.
·  People oriented personality, team player with a strong sense of partnership.
·  An authentic, passionate personality is strongly preferred.
·  A strong understanding of how to contextualize Training for different audiences, based on source material. Must have developed or adapted training materials for local needs previously.
·  Willing to travel across the UK & Europe
