Job description


Product Analysts at IBM Cloud Brokerage Services are responsible for understanding, documenting and defining business problems, eliciting end user needs and product requirements; including business rules. Instrumental in the release planning and administration process, you will focus on developing offerings in the multi-cloud management space providing a single pane of glass for enterprise customers to purchase and manage multiple environments in public and private clouds.

As a Product Analyst, you will use your experience facilitating productive meetings with subject matter experts to formulate business strategies and requirements and translate business needs into actionable functional requirements for IBM Cloud Brokerage products that power Hybrid Cloud solutions for enterprises, on a platform that integrates public and private cloud services.

In this role you will…
·  Develop detailed requirements, features, user interface mock ups, storyboards, use cases, wireframes, or other artifacts required to ensure a successful and quality product
·  Assist in beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
·  Create and Support Demo scenarios, Demo scripts, etc.
·  Support Sales in new customer acquisition
·  Create functional requirements and use cases for "IBM Cloud Brokerage"
·  Conduct walk-throughs and signoffs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs
·  Create a complete picture of workflows and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed software
·  Perform review of test cases, user acceptance testing, develop demo scenarios, perform demos of the product functionality
Qualifications
You can conceptualize complex business requirements and effectively communicate them. It's in your DNA to identify and document business processes and system requirements to produce functional and technical specifications, and jump at the chance to share your findings to make those around you better at what they do.

·  Do not shy away from having sometimes difficult conversations to drive customer requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

· 
5+ years of experience in software and Agile-based PRODUCT development

· 
Ability to conduct market research

· 
Solid understanding of Application Life cycle management /Deployment Life cycle

· 
Familiarity with cloud-based development, message-oriented development, n-tier applications, REST APIs, Open Service Broker API

· 
Familiarity with public clouds such as AWS, Azure, Softlayer or similar systems

Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, ICD or similar tools
