IBM business support for Resource & Capacity team

Job description

IBM company is looking for a new colleague for its Resource & Capacity Management team supporting IBM Business Consulting unit in Czech republic and Slovakia.

Main purpose of the process-oriented role is to help to managers and leaders to solve resource-related business issues. This role includes identifying and fixing tasks through excellence in process execution.

On this role you will:

- assist consultants and project managers in finding internal opportunities for project assignments

- maintain Hours Plan bookings, project assignments (internal tools)

- take care of new hires and transfers-in for a fixed amount of time after onboarding to help them with transition into their new teams

- creating and updating open seats/sourcing channels for business projects

Specific tasks include:

- working at the direction of the Resource Deployment Manager in CEE region

- identify projects needing resource assignments and coordinate with managers to obtain details

- daily calls with managers, managing bookings and calendars for the managers

- working close with People Managers for their decisions on staff assignments

- assist with alternative sourcing for new hires

- assist with IBM reporting requirements

- manages utilization and labor performance, and provides management with operational and financial information

Key Skills required:

Excellent knowledge of Czech or Slovak language

Very good English knowledge - both written and verbal, daily use

Good verbal and written communication

MS Excel and PC literate

Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

Ability to act independently and within a team

Can demonstrate initiative and analysis to solve issues

Proactive and willing to take initiative

Can use tools and reports to analyse results, make findings, and propose recommendation
