Your Role and Responsibilities
Our Ecosystem Marketers have a deep understanding of our partners: how they sell, how they make money, and what their priority offerings are. A critical part of our Marketing organization, they drive partner-led demand motions to scale business growth for IBM’s technology and Consulting offerings.

The Partner Marketing Development Fund (MDF) Program Manager identifies, pilots and scales innovative ways to streamline the funds allocation, utilization and governance process in partnership with key stakeholders. They are constantly asking “how do we simplify the way our partners leverage our distributed funds program and platform?”

Responsibilities include:

·  Developing successful and unique joint go-to-market plans to help partners meet their goals
·  Deep understanding of all aspects of MDF including knowledge of MDF processes and payment disbursement platforms; and understanding of claims management with partners
·  Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure quality and alignment with broader plans, including demonstrated experience working with Marketing, Legal, Trust & Compliance, Business Controls to ensure MDF programs operate effectively
·  Scales strategies globally – working with geography teams to try new means of engaging and scaling what works
·  Managing and tracking budget usage and performance. This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times peer week

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Experience in Marketing
·  Experience using various tools, MDF management platforms, project management and data analytics programs to monitor and measure activities including proficiency in tools such as Tableau and Excel
·  Confident and clear communicator

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  B2B partner marketing experience: understands partners, and the varying levels of marketing skills and resources they can deploy
·  Experience in managing MDF programs end to end
·  Experimentative mindset – works quickly to pilot, succeed/fail fast and scale what works
