Your Role and Responsibilities
The Product Marketer possess a wide variety of knowledge across their given job role. They have deep expertise in one product area, but these individuals have a holistic working knowledge of the product marketer role and its context within their organization. Product marketers understand all the functional elements of their job role, and act as connection points between the different groups including other marketing and communications functions, product management and sales.
This position requires subject matter expertise and product/offering evangelism to develop and drive a successful go-to-market strategy, including leadership of product messaging and positioning.
- As a product marketing generalist, you are able to develop launch plans and manage functions for successful outcomes, understand and articulate market segmentation, and can seamlessly “influence without authority” to direct virtual team resources.
- Responsibilities include content creation through persuasive and compelling storytelling and a deep understanding of personas and buying groups.
- Critical to the role are the abilies to drive resource prioritization, establish clear, measurable objectives and align across large virtual teams.
- You have a strong grasp of the competitive landscape and the pivotal role that the product and associated business unit plays in the total client experience.
