Job description
· Understands month-end accounting close process and submits entries for approval to close out each month.
· Requires ability to process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions based on this data, and to effectively communicate the related required actions.
· Interface with diverse levels of internal and external personnel to develop and maintain effective rapport and to resolve issues and inquiries.
· Articulates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems; including strong understanding of internal controls within a consolidated payroll accounting environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Requires education generally equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
· 3 – 5 years of Payroll Accounting experience
· Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively across different cultures.
· Knowledge on accruals, accounts reconciliation, journal entries, accounts clearing and variance resolution (SAP) is a must.
