Grand Hyatt Barcelona – Steward

The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper organization of all china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment throughout the hotel. This role is a temporary position , hired to cover a leave of absence , and plays a key part in supporting smooth culinary operations while upholding Grand Hyatt's hygiene and quality standards.

Responsibilities

· Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
· Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, stewarding areas, storage rooms, and banquet support areas according to health regulations.
· Operate dishwashing equipment safely and effectively.
·
Ensure clean equipment and utensils are organized and readily available.

· Communicate efficiently with kitchen and service teams.
· Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
· Maintain a positive, team‑oriented, service‑focused attitude.
