About the Role

Stewards play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchens by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are washed, sanitised, and stored properly.

Some of the responsibilities include

· Clean and maintain areas to Hyatt Hotel Canberra Standards, ensuring that all equipment and cleaning schedules are followed
· Maintain operating equipment in good condition and ensure it is returned to its designated storage place.
· Count and update glassware and crockery for all outlets
· Perform general cleaning duties in accordance with procedures for each work station.
· Cleaning walls in all kitchens, walls in all corridors and centenary kitchen (tables, shelves, sinks)

Desired profile

Qualifications :

A successful candidate will have:

·  Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
·  Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
·  Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
