Newly opened, Andaz Lisbon is an exciting luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital and represents a key milestone in Hyatt's continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is the second Hyatt‑branded hotel in Lisbon.

Located in the heart of Lisbon's vibrant Baixa district, along the city's main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal's major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).

The central building houses 170 guestrooms, while the four surrounding satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. As a unique Urban Resort in the city center, Andaz Lisbon invites guests to fully immerse themselves in the local culture and experience the true essence of Lisbon.

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Manager to join our team at Andaz Lisbon. Reporting to the Director of Sales (with a dotted line to the Director of Commercial Services), the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening the hotel's market position and developing long‑term client relationships across key segments.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at Andaz Lisbon. Reporting to the Director of Sales (who reports to the Director Commercial Services), the Sales Manager will lead efforts to establish a strong Hotel's brand and market presence, build key client relationships, and drive early revenue across all segments. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new hotel's journey and play a pivotal role in its growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and the ability to collaborate effectively with hotel teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sales Strategy & Execution: Support the Director of Sales in implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.

· Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and key partners, ensuring repeat business and long‑term collaboration.

· Revenue Generation: Work closely with the Director of Commercial Services, Director of Sales, and Revenue team to optimize pricing strategies and drive business across all segments.

· Marketing & Brand Awareness: Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns, promotions, and partnerships that enhance visibility and attract new business.

· Groups & Events: Actively promote the hotel's meeting and event spaces, focusing on securing group business and corporate events while ensuring smooth coordination with operations. Support the Groups Sales Executive in quoting and converting leads.

· Internal Collaboration: Partner with cross‑functional teams (marketing, reservation, revenue and operations) to ensure a seamless guest and client experience.

· Reporting & Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide insights on market trends and business opportunities.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of sales success, ideally in a pre-opening hotel environment.

· Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills

· Experience with hotel sales CRM system (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce)

· Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic pre-opening environment

· Strong organizational and time-management skills
