Hyatt Centric Sapporo is preparing to make its debut in one of Japan's most dynamic cities—where nature, culture, and creativity converge. Located just steps from Sapporo Station, our hotel will be the perfect launchpad for curious travelers eager to explore Hokkaido's vibrant urban energy and breathtaking landscapes.

As Director of Marketing and Communication, you will lead the hotel's brand positioning and storytelling strategy. From bold campaigns to media relations and local partnerships, you'll shape the hotel's identity and connect with guests through authentic and engaging experiences.

マーケティングコーディネーターとして、ホテルのブランドポジショニングとストーリーテリング戦略を上司のサポートを受けて実現します。大胆なキャンペーン、メディア対応、地域連携を通じて、ホテルの個性を形づくり、ゲストとのつながりを深めます。

Administration

§ Assists in the implementation of the hotel's Marketing Communications Strategy (goals, tactics and actions).

§ Assists the Director of Marketing Communications to ensure that the Marketing Communications activities are aligned with the Corporate Marketing Strategy, and the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.

§ Assists in the preparation of the Departmental Operations Manual.

§ Attends Departmental Communication Meetings as scheduled.

§ Provides administrative support to the Department.

Customer Service

§ Provides the appropriate level of professional, courteous and caring service to other associates (internal customers) and other visitors to the division.

§ Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

Financial

§ Assists in establishing annual marketing communications budgets, including above the line advertising, public relations, sales promotions and publicity that will form part of the hotel's business plan.

§ Maintains records of all media and purchase agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotel.

§ Updates and checks departmental expenses against budgeted costs.

Marketing

§ Develops and maintains active contacts with the press and key media people, and evaluates all media solicitations and exposures.

§ Assists in monitoring all current attitudes and public statements concerning the hotel in foreign and local media.

§ Assists in ensuring all hotel advertising and collateral (local Food and Beverage, recruitment, etc.) are of consistent high standards, and that they comply with HI's brand standards.

Operational

§ Maintains and updates the hotel's photographs and press releases library.

§ Maintains inventory of hotel collaterals including rack brochures, fact sheets, conference and incentive guides.

§ Updates press list.

§ Compiles press kits.

§ Prepares for Overseas press arrivals.

§ Prepares the monthly PR Report.

§ Tracks and collates collaterals produced for the month.

§ Works with other departments to assess and support their internal and external communications needs.

§ Maintains systematic records of press clips of hotel's outlets and departments.

§ Develops good community contacts among government, businesses, associations, etc. and supports ad-hoc events and or projects in the community.

§ Represents the hotel at public functions.

§ Works closely with suppliers concerning printed and promotional matters.

§ Processes and follows-up on invoices and payments.

§ Responds to work request within 24 hours.

Qualifications :

Personnel

§ Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt's Values and Culture Characteristics.

§ Supports the implementation of changes as a result of the Associate Opinion Survey.

§ Develops with training activities from the Training Academy focused on improving skills and knowledge.

· マーケティング、コミュニケーション、または関連分野の学位

· ライフスタイルまたはラグジュアリーホテルでのマーケティング管理経験(最低2年)

· ホテルの開業準備経験があれば尚可

· 優れた創造力、戦略的思考力、コミュニケーション能力

· 日本語と英語の卓越した会話・読み書き能力
