Guest Services Officer - Sales

Job description

To achieve the necessary telephone sales techniques to maximum the sales of accommodation for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.

·
To acquire extensive knowledge of all Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, to be able to confidently answer enquiries from the general public, travel industry and staff at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. This knowledge includes guarantee and cancellation policies of each Hyatt and Resorts. Rack and Corporate rate structures and methods of payments.

To achieve a general knowledge of travel industry, including terminology, in-house operations etc.

Good Communication Skills.

·
To maintain accurate records of all requests, following up these requests within 24 hours with both the property and the quest or travel agent.

·
To perform day to day operations functions and other tasks as assigned by the Revenue and Sales Manager or Supervisor.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Diploma/qualification in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
