About the role – Executive Chef 総料理長

As the Executive Chef at the Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island, Okinawa , you will report directly to the General Manager and will:
· Manage the daily operations in Culinary Division aligned with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst maintaining Hyatt International's high standards of F&B experience.
· Provide the vision, leadership and strategy to inspire associates to deliver exceptional service and drive financial success. Your passion for service is contagious and you are a natural coach that loves to build effective teams and inspires individuals to be their best.
· Build lasting rapport with key business partners. You demonstrate a professional and approachable image to owners, colleagues, guests, vendors and the community.
· Deliver our brand promises by leading as a role model as a brand ambassador.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

We are looking for candidates who are currently in a similar leadership role or have relevant experience in hotels or restaurants. We are looking for a candidate who has:
·  Reputation as a collaborative and results-oriented leader, with excellent communication and business acumen.
·  Proven ability as an effective and caring leader fostering a culture where people are empowered to be their best.
·  Ability to manage change, deal with complex situations requiring the assessment of priorities and the tenacity to follow through to a successful conclusion.
·  Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production. Minimum 2 years work experience as Executive Chef, or Executive Sous Chef in larger operation.

·  Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a flair for creativity are a must.

·  Proficiency in English, and Japanese ability is a plus.
