Event Planning Manager - Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

Job description

You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the Events department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate and guest expectations. The Event Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of events, ensuring all operational requirements are executed to the highest standards, while building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional event experiences.

Qualifications :

·  Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
·  Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Hospitality, Tourism management or any other relevant courses.
·  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in events, preferably in events planning within the hospitality industry.
·  Proven track record of successfully planning and executing a variety of events, including corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings.
·  Good interpersonal, negotiation and time management skills as well as attention to detail, and computer proficiency are essential.
