Event Planning Executive - Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

Job description

You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the Events department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate and guest expectations. The Event Planning Executive is responsible for managing event enquiries, coordinating and executing events from confirmation through completion, building strong client relationships, and maximizing revenue through exceptional service, effective planning, and strategic upselling opportunities.

Qualifications :

·  Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open to Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
·  Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Hospitality, Tourism management or any other relevant courses.
·  Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the events department of Sales & Marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry or related field.
·  Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to achieve departmental and hotel goals.
·  Good interpersonal, negotiation and time management skills as well as attention to detail, and computer proficiency are essential.
