This represents a unique chance to deploy all of your skills and ingenuity to position Park Hyatt Mexico City as the new market leader and fresh reference for luxury experiences. Your focus will be to position the design, size and breathtaking views of our rooms and suites as the must see destination for anyone traveling to Mexico City on business and leisure, or ideally a combination of both! At the same time anchoring the Mexican culinary heritage journey in our food and beverage hot spots within the affluent local community. And finally, celebrating our Wellness and Spa program as the most pampering and rejuvenating sanctuary of peace and longevity in Polanco.
As Director of Sales & Marketing , you will play a pivotal role in introducing this landmark hotel to the world. You will lead the commercial strategy and inspire a passionate team to deliver exceptional performance across all revenue streams. Partnering closely with Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments, you will craft and execute innovative sales and marketing initiatives that position Park Hyatt Mexico City as the destination of choice for discerning travelers and locals alike.
Your mission: to drive market share, cultivate key relationships, and create demand for a hotel experience that embodies sophistication, artistry, and genuine hospitality — hallmarks of the Park Hyatt brand.
Grounded in our Purpose to “ Care for People so they can be their Best ”, the Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for bringing this Purpose to life through the execution and delivery of the Hyatt brand and brand experiences across all stakeholders: guests, colleagues, customers, owners, and communities.
With passion, care, and a strong work ethic, the Director of Sales & Marketing actively and consistently engage all stakeholders to listen, learn, and lead a diverse team focused on building brand loyalty and cultivating positive guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the strategic direction and execution of all sales and marketing initiatives for a successful opening and beyond.
· Build and inspire a high-performing commercial team focused on collaboration, creativity, and results.
· Develop and nurture strong relationships with key partners, travel professionals, and corporate clients.
· Collaborate across departments to optimize occupancy, maximize total revenue, and elevate the guest experience.
· Champion the brand identity of Park Hyatt Mexico City through impactful campaigns, storytelling, and events that reflect the essence of modern luxury.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
·
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
·
Minimum 2 years' experience as Director or Associate Director of Sales & Marketing in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel.
·
Demonstrated success in pre-opening environments is highly desirable.
·
Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
·
Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
·
Deep understanding of luxury market dynamics and brand positioning.
·
Fluency in English and Spanish is a most.
