Because we are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager !

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy and execution of digital marketing and ecommerce activity. This position will support hotel marketing by developing digital marketing and e-commerce and related programs.

Digital marketing activities will include: search engine marketing (including PPC and SEO), mobile marketing, display advertising, email marketing, marketing via corporate channels and strategic social media planning and execution. Digital Marketing Manager will also oversee e-Commerce activity including the strategic management of the hotel's website and apps.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

Strategy and Budget Management:

· Set overall digital direction to help drive room and other related revenues (i.e. F&B, spa, meetings, etc.)

· Maintain overall budget and related vendor/agency relationships for digital marketing (i.e. Supporting billing and invoicing needs for Hyatt)

· Identify, articulate and defend insights and recommendations to senior hotel management

· Provide ongoing updates of industry news, trends, issues, site features and best practices to senior hotel management and help educate hotel on E-marketing essentials

· Work closely with Revenue Management in identifying opportunities and booking trends and develop relevant digital strategies

Digital and Social Marketing Responsibilities (PPC, SEO, Social Media, Email, Mobile, etc.):

· Collaborate with partner agencies to develop annual business plans for the hotel to ensure sound comprehensive strategic recommendations and ensure ROI goals are achieved across digital channels for hyatt.com production

· Exhibit knowledge of CPA, CPC, CPM, e-mail buys, paid search, mobile and other conventional and unconventional internet advertising/acquisition models

· Work with and manage agency to ensure PPC and SEO plans strategically and efficiently fit each individual hotel's goals and objectives

· Conduct reviews and execute SEO best practices accordingly (both on and off site) to improve hotel visibility within search engines

· Together with the Social Media & Content Specialist foster partnerships with online partners (journalists, bloggers, review sites etc) for additional online visibility

· Drive email-marketing initiatives in coordination with Content and Communication manager. Responsible for setting up accounts with approved vendors, drive quarterly/annual activity calendar, generating quarterly performance reports and conducting regular database audits

· Assist in executing social media activity, which will include assisting Content and Communications manager to put together creative strategies to generate Fan Base, working with agency on tagging and monitoring social media performance using approved tools

· Together with Social Media & Content Specialist act as internal consultant to promote social/digital knowledge within the hotel on how these channels might impact the guests' experience, provide ongoing insight to stakeholders and act as a resource on related new media trends

E-commerce Responsibilities:

· Develop Ecommerce strategies and best practices for the hotel website such as content management (using Adobe CQ5) and traffic driving tactics and strategies

· Work with and manage agency for mini-site development projects as necessary/needed – for F&B, weddings, etc.

· Work closely with Content and Communications manager to ensure hotel website is relevant, up to date and optimized

· Take ownership of website performance through in depth analysis utilizing Adobe Site Catalyst to test, measure and develop all aspects of hyatt.com activity for Hyatt Hotels within Amsterdam

Project and Agency Management:

· Meet with digital and Ecommerce industry representatives (i.e. vendors, agencies, media partners such as Google, Bing, etc. if necessary) to gain insight to best practices

· Develop and build strong working relationships with vendors and agency partners – serve as primary point of contact for all digital marketing/E-Commerce vendors and agencies. Frequency of agency contact will be determined based on the scope of work outlined between the agency and Hyatt's corporate office

· Work with agency to ensure strategies adopted for each hotel also works amongst hotels within Amsterdam and no business-related conflicts (i.e. bidding on same keywords, etc.)

· This role will be responsible for status calls to review performance reports as well as set goals and objectives with the agency

Your EXPERIENCE:

· A bachelor's degree in marketing or business management is preferred;

· Good knowledge of general internet marketing practices;

· Experience with digital media planning (SEO, PPC, display, mobile and social platforms);

· Web-related project management experience;

· Experience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Google Analytics, and DoubleClick Analytics is a plus;

· Fluent in spoken and written English and preferably Dutch;

· Good problem solving, communications and interpersonal skills;

· Creative thinker and someone who pushes boundaries;

· Someone who breathes new-age advertising and is a digital & e-commerce livewire;

· Developing, agreeing and tracking key KPIs for digital initiatives;

· Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications).
