Global Private Banking & Wealth
HSBC Global Private Banking helps high net worth and ultra high net worth clients manage, grow and preserve their wealth for generations to come. Our network of global experts helps clients access investment opportunities around the world, plan for the future with wealth and succession planning, manage their portfolio with tailored solutions, and find the right support for their philanthropy.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
• Comprehensive guidance of High Net Worth Individuals particularly from Asia (with a focus for China), with consideration to all aspects of wealth planning
• Understand clients' needs and recommend suitable wealth structuring solutions to meet those needs
• Monitor trends in the wealth planning industry and the respective regions, make sure these are communicated via Wealth Planning & Advisory and implement necessary changes in order to achieve the long term goals of the individual and his or her family
• Review and present pitch books and client presentations, corresponding legal, trust and other documentations
• Faciliate succession planning, including wealth planning, philantrophy, family office, marketing events
• Work closely with Relationship Managers and Trust Partners to ensure on boarding the right clients according to Global Standard
• Close collaboration with HSBC Private Banking and / or group affiliates providing the Wealth Planning & Advisory Solutions proposition and enable them to grow their client base
• Support Global Private Banking through structured account planning with Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors
• Network and maintain close relationship with intermediaries in the wealth planning industry
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Degree holder in law, business or tax, preferably with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Chartered Public Accountants qualification
• Experience in law firms, accounting firms, financial institutions, family office or independent trust companies with trust experience
• Solid experience in client relationship management with legal and tax professional exposure
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese
• Travelling is required on need basis
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and detail oriented
