We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Specialised Financial Reporting Expert.
Principal responsibilities
· Produce timely and accurate banking returns / surveys to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and reports required by oversea regulators.
· Ensure the financial compliance in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements of the Banking Ordinance and various HKMA SPMs and guidelines.
· Assist in formulating the policies related to the compliance of relevant regulatory ratios and control limits.
· Prepare regulatory related information to senior management, the Board and various committees.
· Participate in the implementation and development of financial systems for regulatory reporting.
· Support the Bank’s group regulatory reporting package and published financial statements to stakeholders.
Requirements
· University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with a recognized professional qualification is an advantage.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in regulatory reporting in banking or similar experience in auditing of financial institutions in large sized auditing firms.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Good communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
· Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective regulatory reporting processes.
· Sound knowledge of application software such as MS Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
