We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer .
Business: CTO
Principal responsibilities
Working in an International team, you will be helping develop, support and evolve a Java based web application and APIs. You are keen to learn and will grow your experience learning about APIs, UI coding and site reliability engineering. Aside from technology, through Agile working practices you will learn to converse and collaborate with end users to code their requirements. Using automated deployment to promote developed software to production in short iterations to deliver value.
Requirements
The application has a micro service architecture using modern coding techniques and a range of languages Java/Kotlin/SQL/HTML/Javascript/Linux.
You are
· Curious, enthusiastic and creative – we are looking for talented individuals who are willing to learn and grow in a diverse organisation regardless of your background.
· Open minded and able to give and receive feedback to evolve solutions to business problems.
· Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and global agile team, but able to work independently as well when required.
· Are able to lead small team of developers and guide them on small tasks
· Experienced in at least one of API development, SQL/Postgres/databases, HTML/Javascript, Java/Kotlin.
· Experience in testing pipelines using tools like Jenkins and strong unit testing background.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
