We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Business: IWPB Technology

Principal responsibilities

The job holder will have to perform the following duties in WPB STAFF CHANNELS & SELF SERVICE ATMP application:

·  Develop and implement IT solutions to meet business users' requirements
·  Conduct system tests, user acceptance tests and provide support on system implementation
·  Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices

Requirements

·  A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
·  Bachelor Degree or above, with CET-4 or equivalent English level
·  3-5 Years working experience on AS400(RPGLE and CL on iSeries) is required
·  1-3 Years related project management experience is preferred.
·  Experience in production support is preferred.
·  Strong problem solving skills and communication skills
·  Fast to adapt to English working environment
·  Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative
·  Able to work independently and effectively under pressure

What additional skills will be good to have?

·  Familiar with API or Cloud will be strong advantage
·  Test-driven development and Agile experience will be strong advantage
