We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Engineer.

Principal Responsibilities

·  Develop and implement software applications that automate and streamline financial processes, improving efficiency and reducing risk
·  Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop technical solutions that meet business needs
·  Apply data science and analytics expertise to drive business insights and inform decision-making
·  Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and goals
·  Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners

Requirements

·  Proficiency in Python is required. Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java, c++, Go, Rust, and others would be advantageous
·  Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices and event-driven architecture
·  Familiarity with containerisation using Docker, and experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
·  Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
·  Experience with frontend technologies, including React and Next.js, and JavaScript
·  Familiarity with data science and analytics techniques, including machine learning and statistical modelling
·  Experience with database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
