Job Roles & Responsibilities
· Support the development of short, medium and long-term strategy plan and business operational plans for the achievement of overall business objectives of HSBC Macau
· Direct appropriate forecasting and business analysis activities and assist Macau CEO to identify areas to focus efforts on and identifying metrics for success
· Evaluate existing and proposed major investments and provide the CEO and Management Committee with detailed statistical and financial data to thoroughly assess such projects
· Review cost /expenditure of the CEO Management Office to ensure their confirmity with corporate plans
· Organise and prioritise critical issues and required information for Macau CEO to facilitate efficient decision making
· Ensure new ways of working are embedded across all governance forums
· Prepare for and facilitate both internal and external meetings attended by Macau CEO – ensure that the meetings are constructive, and that the preparation for the meetings are appropriate
· Act as a point of contact between Macau CEO and senior management, employees and stakeholders. Ensure information flow and sharing among stakeholders in support of effective timely decision making
· Facilitate initiatives and progress included in the CEO Scorecard with relevant stakeholders
Information
· University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance or a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications.
· Relevant experiences in banking, business management and project implementation will be an advantage.
· Strong analytical, data analysis, problem solving and presentation skills.
· Strong self-motivation with ability to work independently and under pressure.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills; Capable of communicating effectively, embracing changes and overcoming challenges and remain open to work with others from diverse cultures.
· Ability to bring divergent ideas together and think deeply and rationally which contributes to creative and innovative solutions.
· Great sense of ownership and accountability to team and peers.
· Good application of MS Office, with sound knowledge in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; Additional data management skills such as excel VBA or programming capability will be preferred.
· Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
