We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Analyst - Quantitative Analysis
Business: Wealth & Personal Banking
Principal responsibilities
· Produce high-quality quantitative analysis within set deadlines, such as fund performance monitoring, risk analysis, one-pager, quant screening, etc.
· Closely work with fund research analysts to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
· Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and functionality using advanced formulas and macros.
· Automate repetitive tasks and improve workflows using VBA macro.
· Write SQL queries to store, extract, and manipulate data.
· Leverage Python to analyze and visualize data, create reports, and automate processes.
· Contribute to projects by proactively learning new technologies and developing new skills.
Requirements
· At least 2+ years of work experience in financial industry ideally in wealth management, private bank, or investment management.
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) subject.
· Advanced Excel skills and ability to write and debug VBA code to automate tasks and enhance Excel functionality.
· Hands-on experience of using Python and SQL to analyze data and create reports.
· Strong problem-solving skills, attention to details, and ability to work with complex dataset.
· Knowledge of Morningstar, Factset, and Bloomberg would be of added advantage.
· Pursuing or completed CFA or CQF would give you an added advantage.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
