We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Human Resources Transformation Consultant.

Principal Responsibilities 

·  Implementation across the HRT portfolio is effectively managed in the context of the initiatives they are aligned to in close conjunction with all relevant internal and external parties, and in alignment with Group and HR standards.
·  Design solutions leveraging various change methodologies and tools appropriate for the business problem.
·  Ensure clear and concise plans are in place for related initiatives and that these are clearly aligned with the strategy of the Group HR function and HRT portfolio globally.
·  Actively manage and co-ordinate the plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and financial costs and benefits to enable effective delivery.
·  Support a positive work culture within the HR Transformation function based on respect for people, integrity of actions, creativity and collaboration leading to increased productivity.
·  Support an environment of inclusion, diversity, collaboration and trust within the team(s)
·  Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders – inside and outside of the department – working closely with wider functional, regional and business line teams, building strong relationships, ensuring consensus and effectively influencing outcomes.

Requirements

·  Knowledge of HR departments and HR Centres of Excellence (COE), including HR core platforms and processes, or will be expected to establish a robust understanding of the HR infrastructure and supporting architecture, particularly in the context of the Business Analysis activity for those in this role.
·  For internal candidates - Strong understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behavior’s, processes, and objectives
·  Experienced-level skills in change and delivery methodologies e.g. project management or Agile, in the context of transformation
·  Effective consulting skills including insights gathering, analysis idea/ options generation, solution recommendation and converting options/ requirements into meaningful work products or project plans/ approaches.
·  Effective business analysis and solution design, including understanding and ideally experience of the application of Design Thinking methods (workshop design and facilitation, development of personas and customer experience journey mapping etc.), or able to use a broad range of methods to understand and articulate stakeholder requirements, recommend appropriate approaches and solutions to address, as well as able to support end users in using the new approaches/ solutions.
·  Effective ability to identify and manage key initiative risks and considerations. Effective ability to manage stakeholders and navigate a matrix reporting environment successfully.
·  Intermediate ability to interpret, understand and communicate data as information.
·  Intermediate knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitors etc.- and understanding implications to HR. Intermediate knowledge of the Global businesses and broad understanding of the role of HR in an organisation
·  Ideal to have effective to advanced skills in at least one of these areas:
·  Change management/ Change adoption - managing people and organizational risks and changes that may occur because of implementing transformation projects/ programmes. Agile delivery methodologies
