We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will be:

·  Design, build and test end-to-end applications through close collaboration with other development team members.
·  Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by implementing and following the HSBC Group security and data privacy principles from ideation to production release and beyond.
·  Engineer products that implement business logic, modern design patterns and architectural principles
·  Engineer products that follow coding standards e.g., documentation and efficiency
·  Ensure product robustness and reliability by writing and executing unit and integration tests.
·  Write System Design documents and Functional Specifications.
·  Troubleshooting customer issues ensuring a timely resolution.
·  Support the delivery of initiatives that will involve HR systems such as SAP and other related technologies.
·  Build efficient and optimal solutions by challenging ideas/opinions.
·  Maintain effective control of the end-to-end application and service (including Development, UAT and Production).
·  Develop a track record of managing tech debt and taking the initiative to fix issues before being assigned them.
·  Adhere to governance processes and ensure compliance with all HSBC IT FIM requirements.
·  Build relationships beyond teams and seek out new ways of improvement.
·  Ensure service resilience supporting the existing SAAS solutions as part of the T3 team.
·  Providing tactical incident and problem recovery management, working closely with Tier 2 team members and our vendors to ensure the satisfactory resolution of incidents within service levels.
·  Work closely with vendors ensuring their products meet HSBC expectations and where required raising enhancement requests and working with customer communities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

·  Minimum 3+ years’ experience with managing SAP Recruiting
·  Background within a technical configuration role
·  Good understanding of technology, best practices and skills needed in modern software development to be able to spare with your colleagues to develop in role as engineers.
·  Experience with working in an agile development environment.
·  A curious team player that continuously learn, naturally shares knowledge and challenges status quo while embracing diversity and inclusion.
·  Be able to clearly convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
·  Excellent documentation skills, organizational, and time management skills.
·  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
·    Knowledge of recruitment systems such as Eightfold, Taleo, Avature, Hirevue.
·  Technical background in IT Operations or Software Development
·  Experienced in Jira & Confluence
·  Access provisioning for SuccessFactors
·  Experience of SAP BTP
·  Experience with Taleo, or any other HR systems.
