We are currently seeking an ambitious UAE National to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
•    Support oversight of the management of risks and controls associated with the Retail Product business. 
•    Responsible for ensuring the business adheres to all first, second, third line requirements, as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, new and existing. 
•    Manager product governance requirements including supporting the Retail Risk Oversight Committee and Pricing Control Committee.
•    Support product approval submissions and key regulatory reporting requirements.
•    Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, MSII resolution and compliance with UAE Central Bank regulatory requirements for Product.
•    Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation, and control.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
•    Previous experience in Risk Management and Governance
•    Ability to present complex issues confidently and concisely to Senior Management, Auditors and Regulators, using simple language.
•    Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills with experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior executives across multiple functions.
•    Ability to identify, assess and communicate the need for risk management intervention in complex, fast paced environments.
•    Proactive and delivery focused to ensure individual and team tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality.
