We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Business Consulting

Principal responsibilities

·  Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business.
·  Taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
·  Adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures.
·  Keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.
·  Implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.
·  This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with Compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimizing relations with regulators.

Requirements

·  Master’s degree from reputed university in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other quantitative fields
·  Experience in managing significant data volume with in-depth knowledge of relational database management along with Consulting experience in the data analytics domain.
·  Excellent Project Management skill is required. Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent.
·  Thorough knowledge in SQL and Python must. Having knowledge/experience in Pyspark would be preferred. Knowledge of SAS is a plus.  Knowledge of Big Data is required.
·  Knowledge in Google Cloud Platform or any On-Prem  and corresponding tooling solutions would be preferred.  Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including macro based excel sheets.
·  Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.
·  Advanced capability in translating complex and/or technical work and insights into straightforward business language.
·  Excellent interpersonal skills with highly developed capacity to constructively challenge and influence management.
·  Proven stakeholder management capabilities.  Proven problem solving skills with ability to consider alternative and innovative solutions
·  Besides strong written and verbal communication skills the incumbent is also expected to have strong presentation skills
