We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant specialist
In this role, you will:
• Lead the risk & control agenda for the WS Tech Credit & Lending Value Stream
• Own the delivery of risk & control projects and programmes for the value stream
• Assist service owners in responding appropriately and effectively to firm-wide risk, cyber and corporate control initiatives
• Partner with service owners and Value Stream/Sub-Value Stream leads and head to identify and assess controls, determine mitigating actions and remediation activities, and understand the overall risk profile
• Partner with WS Tech. RCOs to ensure departmental requirements are taken into account
• Advocate and support initiatives to improve accuracy across all Enterprise Golden Source data repositories
• Provide technical knowledge to support secure development of applications and remediation programs
• Provide visibility of status of action plans and external/internal audit issues
• Drive ownership and accountability for Risk Issue and Action Plan Ownership within Value stream
• Challenge where appropriate, decisions made on control implementation
• Review allocation of issues to Value stream and agree categorization of high/medium/low.
• Approve the raising and closure of issues, action plans, but look to automate process
• Triage the issue/risk acceptance process
• Supporting the assessment and articulation of residual risk in Value Stream or at WS Tech business based on global issues impacting the Technology control environment
• Managing on going Control Effectiveness via Control KCI data across Value stream
• Act as a gatekeeper in collection of artefacts and / or evidence for control remediation related audit or regulatory assessment.
• Support Control remediation agenda for WS Technology and ensure compliance at value stream level
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Minimum 6/7 years IT - Risk and Control / Cyber Security experience
• Experience in managing IT/Technology risk and control projects
• Hands on experience on risk and control management tools and process
• Good communication skills, be able to talk to a variety of stakeholders include senior people
• Proficient with using Excel, Macros, JIRA and Powerpoint
• Desirable – CISSP, CISA or CRISC certification if any
