We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Regulatory Compliance Oversight, Conduct and Framework Manager - AMH CMBGBM COMPLIANCE ADVISOR
Principal responsibilities
· Effectively support Risk Stewards by ensuring effective risk management and reporting oversight framework is in place.
· Improve the level of awareness and understanding of Compliance to better meet needs of stakeholders.
· Act as liaison and coordination point, providing advice and support on RC risks and Risk Strategy to senior management, Compliance and other colleagues.
· Maintain and develop positive and professional working relationships across Compliance, and with key stakeholders including Operational Risk and Assurance. Ensure timely disclosure of relevant information, in relation to financial crime, and regulatory compliance related matters.
· Ensure that positive relationships are maintained with other external stakeholders relevant to the compliance agenda.
· Perform ad-hoc tasks effectively.
Leadership and Teamwork
· Team player supporting the development and implementation of enhancements to risk and governance frameworks.
· Support the establishment of a strategy for the sharing Compliance knowledge and best practice.
· Communicate effectively re-enforcing knowledge of key information related to risk management and frameworks, policies and procedures.
· Helps provide project management support on compliance-related projects and initiatives, as requested, to ensure they progress toward a common goal in alignment with agreed timelines.
· Provides assistance across ASP RSOG when necessary/requested.
Operational Effectiveness and Control
· Excellent knoweldge of Operational Risk Management framework and Enterprise Risk Management framework.
· Support the framework for the effective risk-based monitoring of the implementation, embedding and monitoring of Regulatory Compliance risks related policies and controls.
Requirements
· Detail-oriented, good analytical skills and have a solid understanding on governance, risk management framework, including financial crime and regulatory compliance risk taxonomies and control library.
· Self-driven, enthusiastic, independent, proactive, ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver under pressure against multiple deadlines.
· Analytical skills with an understanding on how to source data, analyse and draw conclusions and identifying anomalies.
· Strong report writing skills with ability to summarise complex data into clear and comprehensive reports that can be readily understood by a senior audience. Good judgement in assessing and escalating issues requiring decision making.
· Proven ability to manage multiple issues and priorities and demonstrated judgment and poise in challenging circumstances.
· Lateral thinker with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues and an experienced strategic thinker with ability to develop practical and effective solutions to complex issues.
· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with experience of dealing with executives at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Team player and able to work collaboratively with teams at country, regional and global level.
