Job description
The Premier Relationship Manager Review Team Manager (Sales Quality Team) role is based within the Sales Quality in the Business Performance department.
The role of the Premier Relationship Manager Review Team Manager (Sales Quality Team) is to lead a team of file review managers who review wealth management advice, coaching and developing, assessing quality and reviewing performance alongside recruiting as and when necessary.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, motivating and developing the Sales Quality Mortgage and Protection Team to deliver Global Standards and ensure the provision of a customer driven compliant service, alongside assessing the Mortgage and Protection sales, to ensure the products sold by the sales force are compliant and that all documentation meets to agreed service standards.
Coaching and developing individuals in the team and being a key point for them in order to meet the individuals objectives and KPIs alongside the overall team's.
Ensuring queries raised with the sales force are resolved satisfactorily, and providing technical support & guidance to teams
Ensuring all areas of risk are considered, the correct remedial action taken and processes changed where necessary, and also ensuring policies and procedures are followed and updated to meet rapidly changing legislation and products
Desired profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Investments, Pensions, Protection products or equivalent Wealth Products.
Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Financial Advice/ review / regulated / compliance / Quality Assurance type environment
Role relevant qualifications, i.e.
QCF level 4 or diploma in financial planning
Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. 5%
- Very occasional travel to in HSBC sites in UK
- Bristol.

A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
A flexible and adaptable management style with experience of developing yourself and others
Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
A broad understanding of financial budgets/statements/models, with experience of analysing data effectively for planning, forecasting and reporting
A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will be able to mentor and coach a large team and possess strong communication, organisational and attention to detail skills.
The base location for this role is Leeds.
