We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Programme Management Office Support (12 months fixed term contract).
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will:
· Manage programme documentation and administrative tasks
· Participation in devising and monitoring of internal governance activities
· Define, track and review activity progress and performance, ensuring the project’s benefits are delivered on time, within budget; and escalating risk as appropriate
· Preparation of monthly MI & reporting on the cost and associated benefits of all the programme, which includes tracking business Cost To Achieve project spend with associated spend forecasts for individual SVS and the programmes overall
· Facilitate the development of an effective communication and reporting strategy
· Responsible for providing proactive insightful financial and other analysis and key performance metrics to drive positive project performance and outcome
· Partner with Finance to ensure that programme spend and saves are correctly included in the Annual Operating Plans and monthly forecasts
· Work with Businesses and Functions to understand cost / saves performance against expected targets
· Point of contact for all programme financials
· Provide training and support to project teams and relevant stakeholders as needed
Requirements
To be successful you will need:
· Previous experience of Cost To Achieve comparable projects advantageous
· Experience in project management office (PMO) functions within financial institutions
· Strong organizational, reporting, and financial analysis skills
· Knowledge of project governance, risk, and control frameworks
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
· Proficient in project management tools and reporting systems
· Able to drive delivery by using robust financial data and insights to challenge and support business decision making
· Agile development aware and strong ability to translate business needs into analytical requirements
· Detailed and demonstrable knowledge of end-to-end Programme life cycle: business analysis, business and technical process change, test management, implementation and production transition
· Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills
· Good knowledge of Financial Services industry and offerings
