We are currently hiring a Director Client Intelligence – Equities at GCB3 level in London

This role provides COO's and other leadership positions with dedicated, forward thinking and strategic ad hoc and operational management support. This will include leading or owning business activities, directly supporting leadership positions and business heads with BAU & non-BAU activities, cyclical work pieces such as Annual Reporting and short term initiatives. They are located in BAU teams and would report to a Global, Regional, Country or Business Head and may have direct reports. 

The key tasks will include the following:

• Oversee or lead in execution of business initiatives and activities in support of business area aims Change implementation projects are out of scope

• Appropriate management of the COO's regulatory and legal responsibilities, or leaders they support

• Lead business planning activities which may include financial, technological and resource planning

• Inform and influence the decision making of leadership positions by use of management information, business performance information, analytics, forums, stakeholder feedback and HSBC strategy

• Lead in forums and committees to represent view of business area

• Lead the creation of implementing and monitoring of internal governance activities

• Investigating and seeking remedies for discrete issues which may be adversely affecting business unit performance

• Working with external service providers to manage or evaluate their provision, monitor their performance and ensure service level agreements are honoured

 

Requirements

·  Strong experience within Equities business
·  High level experience within Client Intelligence  
·  Previous experience operating at director level within client intelligence in the equity space
·  Product knowledge of HSBC’s Equities business
·  Existing relationships within trading management
·  Existing relationships with Equities clients
