We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist .

Business: Enterprise Technology L3

Principal responsibilities

·  Strengthen Operational Resilience: Play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and reliability of critical financial systems. You will design and implement robust processes and controls to mitigate technology risks, safeguard data integrity, and ensure seamless operations in a dynamic regulatory environment.
·  Enhance Technology Risk and Control: Contribute to the development and maintenance to fulfill the Technology Risk and Control Book, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, embedding a culture of proactive risk management across the team.
·  Drive Digital Acceleration: Be at the forefront of the Digital Acceleration Programme, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to modernize workflows, automate processes, and enhance the efficiency of credit risk management, capital adequacy analysis, and regulatory reporting. Your work will help the organization stay ahead in an increasingly digital financial landscape.
·  Optimize Costs and Efficiency: Lead initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs without compromising quality or compliance. By identifying opportunities for process improvements and technology upgrades, you will contribute to the team’s commitment to delivering value-driven solutions.

Requirements

·  University degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
·  7+ years exposure in Unix/Linux platform and Oracle SQL/PLUS. Better to have experience in Data Stage, Control-M and Window batch scripting.
·  5+ years exposure on infrastructure or evergreen project (e.g. environment setup, server upgrade, server patching, system fine tune).
·  Great experience in Finance regulatory project delivery and production support, strong analytical investigation, problem solving skills.
·  Risk Weight Asset (RWA) domain knowledge is preferred.
·  Sound communication skills with good command of spoken and written English.
·  Fast turnaround with outstanding quality output even for complex assignments.
·  Compliance with external regulatory requirements, internal control standards and group compliance policy.

What additional skills will be good to have?

·  Excellent technical and Finance systems knowledge and problem solving skills, is an advantage. 
·  Experience of managing ad-hoc requests and changes.
·  Familiar with Agile and DevOps.
