We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Operational Resilience Testing and Threat Intelligence Senior Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

Operational Resilience sits within the Chief Control Office. This consists of five functional teams, focused on Assurance, Technology, Operations, and Multi-Function (Procurement, Third Party, Business Continuity and Incident Management, and Protective Security). There are also regional teams. Strong collaboration between these functions is key to the success of CCO.

Operational Resilience is relatively new to the CCO structure, and there is a need to build strong relationships to ensure that it is used as a lens in the control testing, review, and assurance process across the sub-functions.

Operational Resilience is a key priority for the organisation. The operational resilience team in DBS is responsible for shaping and delivering the strategy for operational resilience. Achieved through collaboration with global businesses, entities and functions and supporting business led change aligned to the group’s strategic objectives.

The purpose of this role is to

·  Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Bank’s Operational Resilience Testing and Threat Intelligence capability, as part of the Testing & Threat Intelligence team within the broader Operational Resilience Central Capability (ORCC)
·  Support the delivery of the firm’s Operational Resilience strategy in line with regulatory requirements
·  Support the production and execution of the Operational Resilience Scenario Testing Strategy
·  Lead on the design, preparation, execution and reporting of Group Level Operational Resilience scenario tests
·  Working across the Group to embed and sustain Operational Resilience scenario testing, acting as a trusted adviser and senior SME in support of Entity and IBS test planning and execution
·  Working across other testing disciplines to integrate Operational Resilience scenario testing with other relating testing e.g. ICAAP and asset/capability level testing to drive effective and efficient testing
·  Analyse testing outcomes, to drive insight that improves testing and resilience more broadly, across the Group. Support the wider design and provision of testing MI in support effective decision making
·  Partnering with the Threat Analysis capability within team and across the Group to create and sustain a threat and vulnerability led testing
·  Support the design and provision of threat intelligence MI to support effective decision making
·  Representing the Testing & Threat Intelligence team to senior stakeholders

Requirements

·  A strong understanding and proven experience in the following:
· 
·  Operational Resilience and specifically Scenario Testing
·  Related resilience (testing) disciplines e.g., Business Continuity or Risk Scenario Planning & Testing
·  Risk Scenario Planning & Testing
·  Resilience Monitoring & Metric design (including leading & lagging indicators) and Tools
·  A high-level understanding of the regulatory priorities for operational resilience, the broader landscape, and the challenges for firms with a global footprint
·  Strong critical and analytic thinking that drives deep understanding and the ability to break down complex issues and apply analytical techniques to drive actionable insights
·  Strong verbal and written communications skills; ability to communicate complex issues in simple and effective way that supports effective decision making and influences outcomes
·  Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and transcend organization boundaries to achieve results
·  Self-starting, with strong intellectual curiosity that drives a proactive continuous improvement mindset
·  Ability to maximise value and efficiency from resources – personnel, tools and technology, and vendors
·  Demonstration of high ethical standards and thought leadership when challenging existing practices
