Responsibilities of the role holder
Role Profile: Support CEO on BAU management, new business development, and entity level governance processes.
Lead entity level business management activities – FO/BO coordination, internal controls, FRP, KPIs and business performance review.
Drive overall business strategy and planning – business strategy development and review, key initiative planning, and senior management presentation.
Champion the governance processes and forums – Host OpCo, NBRC, and Branch Management; participate in other forums (e.g. RMM, RRCSC, GBA).
Coordinate external relationship activities – regulatory, government, and strategy partner relationship and lobbying efforts.
Perform other corporate level functions – include communication (Media, Wechat, Company Website etc.), Culture program coordination, IBCN RM and other ad-hoc functions.
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Hold relevant licenses & qualifications.
At least 18 years China securities industry and management experience, familiar with changing regulatory and competitive landscapes.
Understanding of the HSBC Group structure and demonstrate ability to develop senior level relationship.
Experience in business strategy development and execution, team management and senior management level presentation.
Strong stakeholders management and negotiation skills, project management and coordination capabilities, demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous and complex situations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
People oriented and strong promoter of HSBC Culture and Values.
