We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager- Traded Risk Analysis .
Principal responsibilities
· Evaluate and monitor the creditworthiness of counterparties, including banks, financial institutions, corporates, and other entities.
· Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of counterparty financials and risk profiles.
· Monitor and manage counterparty credit exposure limits. Analyze and report on the potential impact of market events on counterparty exposures.
· Collaborate with front office, legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to credit risk policies.
· Prepare detailed credit risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of counterparty risk assessments and exposures.
· Provide insights and recommendations to improve the firm’s counterparty credit risk management framework. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, and other applicable regulations.
· Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on the firm’s counterparty risk profile.
· Identify opportunities to enhance risk assessment processes and tools. Participate in the development and implementation of new risk management systems and methodologies.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Risk Management) are a plus.
· 3-5 years of experience in counterparty credit risk, credit analysis, or a related role within the financial services industry.
· Experience with financial derivatives, structured products, and other complex financial instruments.
· Familiarity with Python Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
· Proficiency in risk assessment tools and software, such as Excel, VBA, Python, or specialized risk management systems.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· In-depth understanding of financial markets, credit risk metrics, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with credit rating methodologies and credit risk models.
