Supervise production of materially accurate and compliant financial and regulatory consolidated reports, and the implementation and maintenance of a robust and consistent controls framework.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

   Supervise teams to ensure timely submission of financial and regulatory reporting to external stakeholders, including FCA, BoE and PRA

   Work closely with the business to ensure completeness of the periodic control assessment and testing of individual controls

   Supervise the monthly balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation process across HSBC

   Support development close timetable, including internal reporting timelines and periodic lodgement of all statutory reporting by external deadlines

   Support the financial approval of new business, draft advice on financial and regulatory treatments applied

   Prepare financial and regulatory returns for management review (e.g. liquidity coverage, net stable funding)

   Support Lead Manager on the SOX project of INSH to establish a entity level control framework to fulfil Group SOX requirement;

   Support Manager to perform the risk assessment follow SOX requirement and analysis of relevant risks to the achievement of objectives;

   Support Manager to implement or enhance the control activities that help ensure management directives are carried out;

   Support Manager to identify and capture and communicated the pertinent information in a form and timeframe that enable people to carry out their responsibilities

   Support Manager to establish a continuously monitoring activities on internal control system of INSH to ensure the quality of the system's performance over time.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

   Bachelor ‘s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Audit areas;

   CICPA qualification or equivalent is preferred;

   8+ insurance experience, especially in finance, control, audit is preferred;

   Familiar with China GAAP and IFRS GAAP, IFRS 17 familiarity is a plus;

   Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English (written and spoken)

   Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective problem solver;

   Strong team leadership and people skills;

   Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
