We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Human Resource- Payroll Specialist

Principal responsibilities

·  Is responsible for administering the overall operation of the payroll process.
·  Implement meticulous checks and controls in the team.
·  Continuously look for ways to improve the process efficiency.
·  Is responsible for be updated with new policies and legislation changes to ensure accuracy in payments and full compliance with legislative requirements.
·  Is responsible for building development plan for payroll process.
·  Is responsible for making further improvements on controls to reduce the operation cost.
·  Is responsible for ensuring the Business Contingency plan is well planned and tested.
·  Is responsible for ensuring all service-related documents are reviewed and signed with stakeholders regularly. 
·  To support the various changes happening in onshore entities, payroll team is not only required to provide payroll service but also required to recommend payroll solutions.
·  Payroll team needs to enhance the payroll risk control and meet the payroll regulatory requirement during the payroll transformation.

Requirements

Experience and skills

·  Detailed knowledge of Australia and New Zealand payroll, regulations and legislations is essential.
·  Minimum 5 years in Australia and New Zealand payroll related role.
·  Good communication skills in spoken and written English
·  Good time management skill
·  Finance experience with specific focus on managing Human Resources finances will be an added advantage.
·  Very good aptitude in detailed administrative work
·  Able to work under pressure within demanding and competing timescales.
·  Possess an aptitude in process management and improvement.
·  Experience of working with vendors will be an added advantage.
·  Excellent analytical reasoning skills and strong attention to details
·  Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment
·  Should be comfortable with Australian shift and ready to work extended hours if required.
