Human Resources
Human Resources (HR) leads the implementation of the Group’s People strategy, facilitating talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement. Ensuring talent practices support relevant stakeholders and reflect HSBC values, the function reviews the people implications of business plans while delivering policies, projects, processes and activities in support of business objectives.
 
We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Head of Human Resources, HSBC Amanah.
 
The Head of HR, HBMS supports the CEO/business in the implementation of strategic HR initiatives, provide guidance and direction to the leadership in achieving the deliverables under the People Strategy. The job holder is required to understand the business strategy to ensure HR adds value to the business in building a successful Islamic Banking franchise in Malaysia. the job holder works with senior executives in HBMY and HBMS to realize the strategic plans, and proactively manage the delivery of HR Services through the shared services model.

Contribution to local HR teams
 Operational Effectiveness & Control
Improve compliance and audit status of the HR function
Implement One Country One HR initiatives / Target Operating Model
HSBC Amanah structure to be "fit" for purpose
Implement Global Standards

Requirements
Broad HR functional knowledge not limited to Recruitment & Selection; Assessment Centre; Performance Management; Reward Management; Industrial/Employee Relations; Learning & Development; Talent Management; Succession Planning; Manpower Planning/Resource Management, Market best practices; HRIS.
HR Technical skills
- Job Analysis & Job Design; Job Evaluation/Matching; Balanced Scorecard; market Benchmarking; Selection Tools; Profiling Tools; Facilitation & Consulting Skills.
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Excellent relationship building skills
- interpersonal skills coupled with high EQ ability.
