As the Investigations Reviews Procedures & Training Manager you will be responsible for the design and implementation of an effective procedural framework to support the Regional Financial Crime Investigations teams in delivering a proactive, efficient and effective Financial Crime Risk Investigation.

As our Assistant Vice President Financial Crime Investigations you will:

·  Ensure that policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated and supports the US FCI in the management of and adherence to their Continuous Monitoring Activities, remediation of any issues identified and the FCI Training Framework
·  Be actively engaged in all aspects of Audit, Assurance and Regulatory reviews focused on US FCI. These activities include ensuring timely response to data and information requests such as First Day Letters, Additional Requests, Requests for Information (RFIs). Organizing and coordinating any necessary walk-throughs. Coordinating preparation of any resulting Management Action Plans, tracking their progress and ensuring timely completion and submission of closure packs
·  Be responsible for the design and delivery of projects to improve the procedural framework to support Investigations organisation manage risk
·  Be responsible for the US FCI procedures library and accountable for planning and execution of annual refresh cycles
·  Be responsible for adherence to the Deviation and Operational Governance framework, chairing working groups and reporting to senior management
·  Be responsible for tracking and disseminating updates regarding the completion of assigned training in accordance with the FCI training framework

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $85,000.00 and $127,500.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

·  Excellent communication and influencing skills and possess gravitas and strong leadership type traits
·  Have good knowledge of Risk Management frameworks, with a focus on Non-Financial Risk Management
·  Experience conducting Continue Monitoring Assessments (CMA)
·  Consistently and eagerly work on enhancing and upgrading professional skills leveraging internal and external sources
·  Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude and work ethic and works well in the teamwork environment
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrates an innovative and proactive approach to building new and advanced MI and reporting analytics
·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent at minimum; graduate degree a plus
·  High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
