We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as Product Specialist in Fixed Income Advisory, a core offering in our Prism Advisory service within our Investment & Wealth Solutions Group.

In this role you will:

•    Provide regulated investment advice either direct to clients or via Investment Counsellors relating to fixed income markets across a wide variety of areas including rates, developed and emerging market credit; both investment grade and high yield.  
•    Contribute to the Private Bank’s fixed income strategy and investment outlook and requires a good grasp of macroeconomics.
•    Contribute to investment forums globally, representing HSBC PBUK and will help define and drive investment strategy in fixed income. There will also be a requirement to contribute and maintain high conviction investment recommendations and present these on a regular basis at both a local and global level.
•    Closely liaise with Global teams across multiple regions to ensure product consistency while delivering solutions that meet local client needs while ensuring these are in compliance with regulatory and internal policies. 
•    Build relationships with internal stakeholders including Relationship Managers (RM), Investment Counsellors (IC) and other GPB Product Specialists across Europe.  

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Extensive experience in providing Fixed Income related investment advice to clients - essential
•    As this is a regulated role, the successful candidate must have completed at least any one of the following qualifications; CFA Level 1, CISI / RDR / PCIAM Level 4 - essential
•    Experience within any one of the following environments; Private Banking, Wealth Management or Asset Management - essential
•    Excel proficiency is essential. User proficiency with other relevant systems such as Bloomberg is desirable
•    Highly confident and credible when communicating with internal stakeholders such as Relationship Managers & Investment Counsellors

This role is based in London.
