We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Associate, Institutional & Wealth Sales .
Role Purpose:
· Coverage and managing of the Foreign Exchange business. Engagement with Onshore, as well as Offshore institutional clients on Foreign Exchange needs. Active recycling of risk of our Trading book.
· Promotion of digital enablement of HSBC Foreign Exchange platforms within client universe.
· Leading non-flow product coverage for institutional clients. Engaging with client and identifying hedging opportunities and derivative solutions incl. structured financing ideas.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Deliver AOP Financial targets including revenues, costs and key business initiatives as specified yearly.
· Work with product partners and regional sponsors on products / solutions and client engagement.
· Liaise with the FIG team on client connectivity.
· Interact with clients efficiently and skilfully at all levels.
· Develop relationships with internal stakeholders across departments and countries.
· Conduct the business with a clear understanding of HSBC values and business principles. Take personal responsibility for living the values and business principles within the team.
· Communicate clearly and consistently to all parts of the business, ensuring actions are aligned to messages. Actively share information with the team, ensuring they understand business priorities and opportunities.
· Demonstrate a clear awareness of the operational and reputational risk scenarios associated to my role and proactively minimise Bank exposure to risk.
· Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to my business area, specifically Internal Controls and appropriate Compliance policy.
· Active and robust contribution to banks governance.
· Ensure effective use of these as per individual terms of reference.
· Protect the reputation and integrity of the Group and be fully compliant with local regulations and Group standards.
