We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Project Manager
Work Location: Pune
In this role, you will:
· Accountable for Control compliance of end to end application | Utilise the forward looking view of your backlog in ITSO Bank of work (includes configuration to Jira projects)
· Accountable for Service Ownership
· Accountable to ensure correct and quality data is maintained within systems of record. You may also Responsible to do some of this.
· Accountable to facilitate or delegate application process design, defining end to end continuous improvement processes which maintain service stability and resilience. (Example; Logging / Monitoring (end to end))
· Accountable to keep Production: Safe; Secure; Resilient and Available (Circle of Collaborators are Responsible to Contribute)
· Responsible for driving end to end observability and will be point of contact for Adhoc Requests from multiple stakeholders and reach out to your circle of collaborators to gather information to provide appropriate response.
· Responsible to collaborate with Business Application Owners to identify; drive and implement key performance metrics (Examples: (others exist) Recovery Time Objective; Mean Time to Recovery; Operational Level Agreements etc
· Responsible to identify and present risk factors and impact to Business Application Owners (BAO), enabling to arrive at a decision on acknowledging; accepting or rejecting Risk and any associated remedial plans.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
· Critical thinking (by applying reasoning and questioning) in order to solve problems, evaluate information, discern bias to arrive at conclusions. Foster end to end thinking within (POD) Team to deliver excellent service to your customers
· Have the confidence to make decisions at key moments, sometimes in a time critical pressurised situation
· Ability to influence prioritisation of work within team / POD | Leverage Controls prioritisation guidance to prioritise incoming work. Reaching out to your GB/GF Risk & Control Officer for support to prioritise.
· Ability to provide robust challenge when risk appetites / service resilience and stability are threatened and instigate necessary processes or escalation. Manages the execution of risk remediation activities. Understand Resilience vs Risk vs Cost and what that means to deliver best in class services to your customers whilst exploring opportunities to keep Run The Bank costs within budget
· Ability to identify when it is right to move forward and when it is necessary to stop within the Application Lifecycle. Gather knowledge about application, enabling you to understand scenarios of when Contingency should be invoked ; where Recovery points are for data corruption; which critical processes deliver key data upstream / downstream (and others); What does good performance look like?
· Communicate clearly - say what you mean, mean what you say
· Ability to identify problems and defend against them at the right times.
· Working understanding of IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM WebSphere application server (WAS), Java/EJB, Oracle Database, SWIFT Messaging and ISO20022 knowledge.
