Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Web Developer (Front End) to support the Sales Compensation Group in the Houston, Texas office. This individual will design and build re-usable web components according to Hewlett Packard Enterprise brand guidelines, especially from a user experience perspective.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

Content (70%)
• Conceptualize and develop site layout, navigation, images, icons, interactive animations and other multimedia elements.
• Demonstrate strong grasp of design principles, typography and illustration, careful attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Produce working prototypes used to test/validate designs with internal/external stakeholders, gain necessary Business feedback/signoff, gain necessary technical feasibility feedback from IT and/or business partners
• Strong focus on quality of work through proofing of text to ensure complete and accurate language
• Update all Sales Compensation websites and SharePoint with appropriate changes in content
• Project manage the multiple websites we own, ensuring all navigation, links, proper content archiving, etc. are usable and function
• Support Usability, QA and UAT testing efforts. Ability to work with a vendor if needed for design enhancements
• Manage the Sales Comp mailbox and be able to act on requests or get them to the correct owners
• Provide Metrics support

Programming (30%)
• Code programming changes on websites to be able to pull from other systems/databases and display on our website
• Ability to understand existing and proposed IT infrastructure and content databases
• Computer skill requirements: MS Office, SharePoint 365, Adobe, HTML,

Desired profile

Education and Experience :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
• 1 year programming experience
• Creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Effectively manage tight deadlines and multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment with attention to detail
• Effectively using self-discipline and initiative to work both independently and in teams, budgeting time and meeting deadlines and production schedules.
• Effectively using initiative to stay updated on the latest trends and practices marketing graphic design.
