An integral part of HPE, we work in areas such as Intellectual Property, Mergers and Acquisitions, Ethics, Antitrust, Commercial Law, and Litigation to name but a few.
We are looking for College/University Graduates (within 12 months of graduation per the company's definition) who are undergoing the statutory 18 months training in view of the professional qualification as a lawyer in Greece.
The trainee lawyer will act as a legal advisor to assigned internal clients (including the range of company businesses and functions) and he/she may represent the company in transactions, interactions or disputes with customers or partners. He/she will balance the business interests of client groups with ultimate fiduciary responsibility to company. He/she may represent the company before industry policy setting organizations, government agencies and other regulatory bodies.
In a typical day as a Trainee Lawyer, you would
· Contribute to legal advice impacting client decisions in the country and/or business or sub-division
· Assist in the development of risk profiles addressing routine commercial or specialty law
· Support the development of routine legal awareness and training activities for clients
· Analyze routine legal issues and makes recommendations
If you are…
· Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core values!
· Finishing or if you have already finished your University Degree in Law
· Good in basic legal writing
· A communicative person and a listener with analytical thinking skills
· Familiar with company policies and procedures
· Familiar with the areas relevant to the position and if you have acquired basic knowledge of law through academic exposure
· Very good in verbal and written communication both in Greek and in English
