In order to continue driving success through our talented workforce, we currently have an opportunity for a Technical Consultant to provide remote pre-sales technical consulting services on HPE’s Hybrid IT products and solutions. This person will be supporting the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region and will work closely with our regional teams in Kuala Lumpur and Beijing. Users supported include Sales Executives, Inside Sales Representatives, HPE Pre-Sales Consultants and selected Channel Partners across the APJ region.
Description
This candidate will work under the AP HIT TECHub team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to provide remote pre-sales technical consulting services on HPE HIT products and solution. Users supported includes sales executives, Inside Sales Representatives, HPE presales consultants and selected channel partners across the APJ countries.
Daily responsibilities include:
· Provide a single point of contact (via email, phone) for the field selling teams for configuration requests, technical Q&A and technical escalations on all HPE ESSN products;
· Work closely with engineers in regional/WW GBU team to resolve complex requests, deliver technical support that meet country/region SLA in terms of quality and turn-around-time;
· Represent customers' technical issues and feedback to the ESSN product business units, marketing teams and engineering labs to improve product and service quality;
· Holiday coverage and backup within the team to improve service availability and efficiency
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
· 3 – 5 years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· · Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable. Able to contribute to the design for deliverables.
· · Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products.
· · Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and to peers.
· · Able to produce documentation for use by team and customer.
· · English proficiency is essential and other Asia language is desired (Japanese/Korean/Chinese Mandarin).
