About the Supply Chain Project Manager

HPE Pointnext is currently seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for a role as a Supply Chain Project Manager in Houston, TX.  No relocation assistance available.

The Supply Chain Project Manager will manage high visibility projects with significant business impact, and is expected to employ excellent project management standards, including the creation of charters, proper scoping, development of specific, measureable goals, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

·  Facilitate successful project definition, planning, budgeting, scheduling, resourcing in leading project teams
·  Manage projects within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints
·  Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and project demands
·  Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
·  Manage project scope by ensuring any changes are documented and approved through a change control process
·  Proactively identify project issues and risks and create successful action plans for resolving issues and mitigating risks
·  Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to client, project teams, and other project stakeholders
·  Proactively set and manage client and project team expectations
·  Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required

·  Bachelor’s (or higher level) degree; Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering preferred
·  4+ years project management experience; in a supply chain function ideal
·  Without a Bachelor’s (or higher level) degree, and additional 2 years’ relevant experience, for a total of 6+ years

Knowledge and Skills Required

·  Very strong analytical skills
·  Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, as well as with high-level modeling tools
·  Very strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in English
·  Demonstrated team and project management skills
·  Currently holding or on track to attain PMP certification is a plus
