Global Product Lifecycle Manager - Intern

This is an opportunity to make an impact as part of a team that provides strategic direction & operational support as part of the product lifecycle function within the HPE Pointnext (Service & Delivery) Supply Chain organization. The role has responsibility for applying supply chain knowledge to support the execution of strategies for a variety of common part lifecycle scenarios. This individual is a focal point for supporting spare parts strategy execution, over the lifecycle of a product; from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to End of Life (EOL) management. Problems of low to moderate complex scope are typically encountered and the role enables the delivery of HPE Pointnext lifecycle strategies.

·  Has accountability for supporting NPI, Sustaining and EOL projects in order to meet all deadlines and deliverables with minimum supervision; applying discretion and judgement.
·  Satisfying customer requirements by performing analysis leading to a recommendation of the most effective Supply Chain approach by considering a suite of current and new solutions.
·  Develop and foster operational relationships with stakeholders across HPE Pointnext and other HPE business units, to maximize the value of the GPLM role by aligning spare parts supply chain strategies with business priorities.
·  Act as engaged member of the HPE Pointnext Engineering and Quality (E&Q) Team to understand business priorities and requirements and connect them to lifecycle management deliverables; comprehensive to the industry and the marketplace.
·  Interact with various stakeholders, including but not necessarily limited to high level individual contributors as appropriate.
·  Develop knowledge of spare parts supply chain spend categories and the external market.
·  Promote & demonstrate compliance to E&Q policies and procedures
·  Enabling effective communication across HPE Pointnext SC functions and other HPE Pointnext groups on personal deliverables.
·  Support projects on the HPE Pointnext Supply Chain plan of record.

·  A good understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
·  A basic understanding of project management methodology.
·  Strong Developing business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
·  Demonstrated analytical skills
·  Exceptional Demonstrated analytical thinking, analysis, data modeling and problem-solving skills
·  A process improvement mindset via adoption of LEAN methodology.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local language, including negotiation, presentation and influencing
